What is CEREC?

CEREC stands for Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics. It short, it is ceramic material that allows your dentist to restore damaged teeth quickly and affordably. The ceramic material used is durable and will match the natural color of your teeth.

Does CEREC offer advantages to me?

CEREC has two main advantages. First, only one session is required and the restoration is usually done in an hour. Secondly, because the ceramic material matches the natural color of your teeth, the resulting restoration will look natural. No metal is used and the ceramic is plaque-resistant.

How does CEREC work?

The damaged tooth is prepared by applying a small coating of powder on the surface of the tooth. A picture of the tooth is then taken using a special camera and the required work is done using the picture.
